Most people will pay the standard monthly premium amount. However, you might pay more if your modified adjusted gross income as reported on your IRS tax return from two years ago is above a certain amount. Social Security will notify you if you have to pay more than the standard premium. If you disagree, call them at 800-772-1213. TTY users should call 711 or 800-325-0778.
If you don't sign up for Part B when you are first eligible, you may have to pay a late enrollment penalty.
You pay a yearly Part B . After your deductible is met, you typically pay 20% of the Medicare-approved amount for most doctor services, outpatient therapy and durable medical equipment.
